Sample letter of appreciation to professor for volunteer work

December 20, 2009 Prof. Andrew Gorman Green Road North Hampton, NN5 7AL Dear Prof. Gorman, The Future Doctors’ Society extends its warm appreciation for your support to the commemoration of annual cancer awareness week held last December 10 in London.  You were instrumental in the success of the week-long activities as one of the academe’s representative. We know that you had to sacrifice a lot of your own time and for this, we thank you so much.  The cancer patients who benefitted from the activities, as well as their families, also express their heartfelt thanks for helping organize the event. We hope that you will continue being a good example to your students.  You are an inspiration to us and to those whose lives you have touched through your teaching and volunteer work. Again, thank you for your constant support.  We wish you all the best in your career. Sincerely, Mr. Ashton Wells President, Future Doctors’ Society

Appreciation letter to teacher from parents about child progress

From, Mr and Mrs Filch, D-2, Lamington Boulevard, Sydney To, Mrs Slim, Class 5 Teacher, Dunstan High School, Sydney Dear Mrs Slim, This letter has been drafted for conveying sheer appreciation of the efforts which you have put in for our child, Suzanna. We still remember the day of desperation and despair when we shifted to Sydney and found ourselves in the middle of the school term for our child. We were ominous and  felt that the loss of one entire education year of our child is imminent. Even then, we made this last attempt to save the year of our child by approaching your school. You assured us that Suzanna will prevail through all the studies which have been lagging behind and you would help her by all means. You stood by your assurance and Suzanna excelled in her term   examination . We are overwhelmed with appreciation and gratitude for your support. We are assured that our child’s future is in best hand. Thanking you and appreciating your care for Suzanna’s studies, Yo...

Sample letter of appreciation to principal about teachers

Dear principal, I am the mother of your student _________ from class ____________ and I happened to be in the annual day function, I was there in the school from morning, I am writing this letter as an appreciation to all the teachers who were very supportive and helpful. They were taking care of all the students so well and everything was so well organized. The teachers were very much bothered about the kids lunch time and worrying about their dresses and if all the kids were prepared for the show. When at the end of the show they were very careful in sending each child to their parents and making sure that they are in safe hands. I was amazing to see my child sing and dance so well as she is a very quite child at home, I am sure all the credit goes to the teachers who worked so hard to make this annual day a big hit. I am sure that my child will grow up as a good student in this school under such teacher’s guidance. Thank you for hiring such experienced teacher. Sincerely, Your Name
