Apology letter to boss for miscommunication

Dear (Whatever) Please accept my apology for engaging you in debate about our recent project and for whatever inconvenience this may have caused you, but I felt that your instructions differed from what I understood them to be. It seems that our recent conflict was a result of miscommunication; as I am not always aware of changes in instructions. It is certainly not my intention to be confrontational. In the future I will endeavor to notify you if I am unclear as to your initial instructions. Please know that I value our working relationship and hope that it remains intact. Sincerely,

Apology letter to boss for mistake in work

Julia Shellard CEO Derby Supplies Kedleston Road Derby, DE23 1GB Dear Madam, I have been with this company for twenty years, starting as an office staff and eventually being promoted to my current position as Supervisor.  In all those years, I have maintained good work ethics and professionalims.  Unfortunately, an incident occurred sometime last week that may have negatively affected my good reputation. Allow me to express my sincerest apology for what happened and whatever trouble it may have caused you or the company.  I assure you that the incident was unintentional and I never meant to cause any misunderstanding or distress in the workplace. In case this apology is insufficient to repair any damage done, I willingly submit myself to the consequences of my action.  If necessary, I am also ready to resign from my position if I am already affecting the good standing of the company. Thank you and I hope for your kind consideration. Sincerely yours, Tim Watson

Apology letter to boss for absence without notice

Dear Mr. Wilson, This letter is to convey my sincerest apologies for being absent from work on June 1 to July 1, 2009.  My mother suffered from a stroke and was hospitalized for two weeks at the London Hospital.  Since I was the only child without her own family, I was the only one capable of ensuring her recovery. I am really sorry I was not able to file a leave of absence from work before leaving.  I did not have the time to process the document since I was the one who rushed my mother to the hospital.  Please allow me to return to work immediately and make up for my absence.  I will spend longer work hours for as long as needed to finish the necessary workload. Thank you and I hope for your understanding. Sincerely, Bob Blackstone Sales Representative

Sample apology letter for sending wrong email

Dear Sir, The purpose of this letter is to apologize for the error that was made by me to send incorrect reports to the client. I understand that this error must have caused a lot of inconvenience to the company. I know that any reason given for this will not erase the mistake. But I would like to explain what exactly happened. I was on my annual leave and when I came back and I was told to send the report. You must be aware that usually it is sent by a different employee and the person is on sick leave for long time. I could not get in touch with the person. I was not aware that the report was not up to date and I sent it without checking I was in a hurry to complete the work as I had to give my usual report to the MD. I am extremely sorry for sending the wrong report .I assure you that I will send the correct report immediately and apologize with the client. I assure you that such oversight will not happen in future. I am also planning to send a mail to that team that if someone is o...

Your name Name of the company Address City state zip To The name of the manager Address City state zip. Dear name, I would like to sincerely apologize for my behavior on (date). I was very stressed because of the work pressure and got carried away when all the other team members decided to speak against you. But in the end it was only me who spoke rudely about the overtime. It’s only when I went back home I realized that I should have rather asked for a meeting with you where I could speak up my problems rather than making it a public issue. I know that work pressure is no excuse for my behavior but I hope you will overlook my behavior and forgive me this time. I have been under your supervision from past one year and I am sure you would believe that I have never reacted like this before, please forgive me this time and I hope that this will not affect our work relationship. I would assure you that I will not repeat such kind of behavior in future. I sincerely look forward to your nobi...
