WRITING A COVER LETTER

Dear {Receiver} I’m sorry. I never wanted—or expected—this to happen, but I guess things don’t always go as hoped. There’s no easy way to say this, but we have gone as far as we could go in our marriage.    We’ve had some great times, but we would be doing each other great distress by ignoring our less glamorous moments. Dear {Husband}, I just want to start by saying that I am so sorry that I {behavior}. It was absolutely unacceptable, and I didn't mean to do it at all. I was angry because of {behavior}, but that was no reason to act the way I did. I really believe that if you can find it in your heart to forgive me, we can work through this. I understand that right now, you're too angry to talk to me, but when I think of all the happy times we've had together it makes me so sad to think of us fighting over this. Remember when we {happy memory}? Or when we {happy memory}? Even though we're having trouble right now, I know we're strong enough to get through this together. Dear honey, I am writing this letter to say something which I am unable to say face to face to you. There has been a huge blunder done on my part. And before confessing it, I apologise to you hundreds and thousands times. The thing is that I have put a hole in your favourite pair of denims and the hole is  apparently quite large and size of the iron. I was ironing them and when the courier came I just forgot about it and went on with other daily chores. I was too afraid to tell you in person. And hence I am apologising to you in this way. I hope that you will forgive me. There have been moments prior to this when I have been furious with you for many meagre mistakes which many a times were not even your fault.
