Professional apology letter to colleague

Dear  {Recipient} I sincerely regret my actions on {MM/DD/YYYY}. They were inappropriate and resulted from a momentary lapse of judgment on my part. Please accept my apologies for {state the problem} and for creating an awkward and embarrassing situation. You can expect better from me in the future for I will practice better restraint and exhibit behavior that befits the environment and situation. Please feel free to contact me at {email/phone} if you would like to continue this conversation. I look forward to hearing from you and putting this matter behind us. Sincerely, {Sender}

Apology letter to someone who criticizes

Dear {Recipient}, I would like to apologize for {problem}. It has come to my attention that you've pretty much told everyone what a horrible person I am because of {problem}, so I really feel like I should apologize to you. I mean, it's not like{problem} was in any way my fault, but now that you've gone and blamed me for it everyone "knows" it was. So, thanks for that, and I'm really sorry you felt the need to do that. Also, I'm sorry you're such a petty person that you couldn't just say any of these things to my face. It's really telling when someone like you can't even resolve {problem} without resorting to high school level gossip techniques. Way to act like an adult. So, please accept my obviously sincere apology. I know you must get a lot of these, since you're always demanding people say they're sorry to you. And, of course, each of those must be as sincere as the one I'm writing to you right now. Your humble and groveling...

Apology letter to colleague after disagreement

Dear {Recipient}, In light of our recent professional disagreement, I would like to offer you an apology. Sometimes, colleagues find that they disagree, and while I believe neither of us was truly wrong about {dispute}, my behavior during our disagreement was unacceptable. I should not have resorted to unprofessional language, and I certainly should not have said {statement}. As adults and professionals, this is not the way I usually act. I value you as a colleague, and I hope we can discuss this issue like adults in the future. I think it would be appropriate for us to talk this out over dinner at your favorite restaurant, {restaurant}, or at another venue of your choosing. I would love to take you out for a meal and really get this out of our systems so we can go back to our former cordial relationship. Let's schedule a date that's good for you soon. And, again, please accept my most humble apologies. Your friend, {Sender}

Apology email to colleague for messing up at work

Hello Suzanna, This is Tom here. There is something which I need to tell you. Last evening, I completed my work early and left without realising that you are still working and when I was back, I came to know that you were working till 11 pm. I am really very sorry about not waiting for you and not helping you out when I had to be the most obliged person to this in the entire staff. You have always helped me without even me urging to you for any help. You have worked overtime on many instances just to sort out things which I have messed it up. And when you needed my help, I wasn’t there. I  admit  that this is entirely my mistake and I am very sorry for this. I assure you that I shall always be there and there will never come a day of repentance any more. Your fellow pal, Tom
