A follow-up   sales call   would be appropriate in most cases. Last month’s   results just hit my   desk , and you are doing a fine job breaking in the new line. This kind of follow up letter can be aptly applied for tracing out the status for any pending tenders, quotations, business dealings etc. As the name suggests it is like taking updates through a letter to be drafted with reference to any previous correspondence, or any proposals to be finalized.
