I would like to mention that the Almighty has not been kind enough to give a better start to my life. However, I more than thankful to the Wings Orphanage people in giving my life an  orientation of substance. I have successfully completed my High School education and have also acquired Bachelor degree in science field. I wish to study further and expand my career domain. I am writing to appeal for reconsideration for acceptance to your scholarship.  I was accepted as a freshman student in the BS Chemistry program of the London University this academic year.  However, I will not be able to enroll due to financial constraint and will only be able to do so through your scholarship. I was able to submit all the requirements and I am highly qualified for yourscholarship program.  I was not accepted since I was not able to go to the scheduled interview.  Unfortunately, I failed to attend the interview since my mother fell ill at the time and I had to take care of her for two weeks.  As such, I was not able to contact your office immediately. This letter is address to the head of department in a college or school for making an appeal to avail the benefit of scholarship. Make a note of it that name and designation of the head has to be mentioned on the top of the letter so that it could not be misplaced. And contact details along with identity number of the candidate who want to make an appeal for scholarship needs to be written in the main Para for reference purpose.
