Letter requesting bursary for further education

From, Paul Grind, Wings Orphanage, D-12, Broken Boulevard, Kensington To, Mr Oyster, Help the Orphans foundation, Kensington Dear Mr Oyster, This letter has been drafted in pure belief and faith in your foundation in order to seek bursary for further education. I would like to mention that the Almighty has not been kind enough to give a better start to my life. However, I more than thankful to the Wings Orphanage people in giving my life an  orientation of substance. I have successfully completed my High School education and have also acquired Bachelor degree in science field. I wish to study further and expand my career domain. However, the Orphanage finds it difficult to afford the expenses of my higher studies and I do not blame any bit to them for they have more kids to concentrate on. I have been working along with my studies and have resulted in some modest collection. However, this does not look fulfilling. I hope your foundation would help me. Waiting eagerly for a favourab...

Appeal letter to reconsider of scholarship acceptance

To the Head of the Scholarship Committee: Warm greetings! I am writing to appeal for reconsideration for acceptance to your scholarship.  I was accepted as a freshman student in the BS Chemistry program of the London University this academic year.  However, I will not be able to enroll due to financial constraint and will only be able to do so through your scholarship. I was able to submit all the requirements and I am highly qualified for yourscholarship program.  I was not accepted since I was not able to go to the scheduled interview.  Unfortunately, I failed to attend the interview since my mother fell ill at the time and I had to take care of her for two weeks.  As such, I was not able to contact your office immediately. I was informed that my slot in the scholarship was already awarded to another student.  Still, I am hoping that the committee will consider my case. Thank you. Sincerely, Susan Foskett
